Default GPU at 76 degrees -- is this OK?

My video card running CUDALucas is registering temps of up to 76ºC.

How does this compare to your experience? Is this unusually high, or normal? Should I be concerned? And if so, what can I do about it (in order to keep running CUDALucas safely)?

FWIW, without or without CUDALucas active the CPU cores running Prime95 are at 66º and 63º, according to Core Temp.

The system is an HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1010, multibooting Windows7/Windows8. GPU: PNY GeForce GT 430.

Thanks for any tips/suggestions/advice.

Rodrigo

As long as you don't go above 85-90, you're fine. (Same with the CPU.)

GPU's can take more heat than CPU's, but it doesn't mean...

A GPU at 90C is safer than a CPU at 90C, but it's still a bad thing if either of them get that high.

Does this post refer to its orientation to the vertical or horizontal?
