Default ECMnet Servers

Recently I have been doing some work for the XYYX server, because it gives out light, easy assignments.
I am having difficulty finding an up-to-date list of other ECM servers.
What other servers give out work suitable for my computer. It only has 3 GB of RAM.

Two other active ECMNet servers are:
207.192.74.48:8194 (Homogenous Cunningham - B1=11M currently)
oddperfect.no-ip.com:8201 (OddPerfect - seems down at the time of this writing)

Due to a number of smaller integers, assignments from the Homogeonous Cunningham server tend to be easier than the 225+-digit XYYXF composites, on which work switched to B1=11M several months ago. But with 3 GB of RAM, if you aren't running other memory-hungry processes, your computer can handle multiple parallel B1=11M or even B1=43M.

Note that you can make the gmp-ecm client use a smaller mount of RAM by using the -maxmem option.

I've done this on some clients by making the ecmclient's ecm program be a shellscript which calls the real ecm with the arguments I'd like it to have.

Another ECM server up and running is on my home machine, 83.217.167.177:8194. It is loaded with Cullen, Woodall and their generalized versions. Most are being allocated at B1=1M at the moment.

I wouldn't really say only for 3GB of ram. A lot of people only have 2GB or less.

The OddPerfect servers are now back online. The server at oddperfect.no-ip.com:8203 is configured to give out assignments with B1 no larger than 11M.

If you are interested in ECM outside of ECMNET servers, I have two active projects that need lots of low level ECM. One of these is preparing numbers for RSALS to do SNFS factorization. Numbers of interest to both OddPerfect and to Richard Brent in the SNFS range of 200 to 250 digits are being factored. 44 such numbers have been factored so far - 36 by SNFS and 8 by the ECM preparation. Future factorizations in the project require additional ECM at 11M and 43M.

Thanks for the information.
When I tried the Mersenne +2 server it gave me an enormous assignment. (Over 1200 digits with B1=110,000,000) Stage 1 took 10 hours, and it crashed on stage 2, because it didn't have enough memory.

Default 11-Smooth Server

Recently I tried to do some work for 11-Smooth, but my client was unable to connect to the server at wblipp.dynu.com on port 8194.
Have I got the wrong address, or is their server down?

Both the ElevenSmooth and the OddPerfect servers are down. Hardware problems on old hardware that are not receiving priority attention.

I haven't been able to find any active ecmnet servers for several years now.
Are there any servers still running that I can use my GMP-ECM on?

I am not familiar with running ECMnet, but the Homogeneous Cunningham numbers page has the following message for one:
Code:
An ECMnet server (for version 2 clients only) is running on ecm.unshlump.com:8194.
A thread on factoring HCNs is here.

Here is a relatively recent post which I haven't verified lately.
