There's another option. My company has work in two areas in Buenos Aires, Pilar and Tortuguitas (hope I'm spelling correctly). The forecast is to make a visit next January/February. I can buy the book and request my colleagues support so you can collect it at the hotel.

Thanks. That's a better option. Please send me a PM with more information.

Are you sure that customs will let you bring it in?

Why not? I always travel with a technical book or a novel. So far no issues going to Africa and South America.

There is no problem on customs if you hand-carry the items.

It looks like the real price is $50 or so.

Lots of places on the web say they have it from $15, but all of those places point back to Tacoma Book Center. If you try to order it, your order will be cancelled because "the item is unavailable."

I ordered the Hugh Edgar book from "tacbook" (which I assume is the same place) through Amazon.com (about 15 hours ago). I have yet to receive word of if the order has shipped or if it has been cancelled. After that, Amazon.com had no more listings in the $15 price range.

I had first ordered from "Angie's" and then received word 3 hours later that my order had been cancelled because they "couldn't find the book."

Now Amazon shows the following prices at http://www.amazon.com/First-Course-N.../dp/0534085148

4 New from $110.07 8 Used from $80.13 1 Collectible from $75.52
13 used & new from $75.52

In a few days, it will be impossible to buy the book.

Edit: In the meantime somebody bought the book. Now it says 12 used & new from $75.52
