Default Problem with P-1 factoring...

F.e. I'm trying to factor M40000003 up to 2^61 with GIMPS 24.14.
As described in undoc.txt, the string FactorOverride=61 was inserted into prime.ini(maybe it is not necessarily). The string Pfactor=40000003,61,0 was placed into worktodo.ini also, but program still starts factoring up to
2^68, not 2^61 as I want. How can I make the program factoring up to desired value of 2^61 and prevent of doing useless calculations from 2^61 to 2^68? Thanks for your answers.

The FactorOverride switch is ignored if you are using Primenet.

Select Test-->Primenet and uncheck the box that says Use Primenet...

By the way, that exponent is already factored.

Test->PrimeNet->Use PrimeNet to get work and report results (unchecked).
Program still factors up to 2^68...

FactorOverride only works on the "Factor=" work type in worktodo.ini

Default Another Question about P-1 Factoring

When I increased the amount of memory available, Prime95 (version 24.14) said that it would start all over again with the new settings. But instead of starting from 0%, it started from about 1.7% (or something like that).

Something new has happened. The computer was suddenly unplugged, apparently causing the P-1 test to drop from 30 something % complete to 1.8%; the LL test running on the other core was mostly unaffected.

Simply clicking Stop and then Continue has the same effect.
