I had a power dip during a thunderstorm that crashed the system doing the LA. Which delayed it a few hours and lost the total time (it took about 128 hours in total).

The relations file for 165__521_7m1 seems to be truncated due to the Pentathlon craziness. There are only 33M relations so about half are missing in action. Any suggestions?

Is this relations count confirmed via download and running msieve? We can bump up Q to generate more rels of course but is the data displayed correct?

Thanks Carlos. I’ve bumped up Q by 10M for now, goal is ~65M rels.

Should go quickly.

Sorry I had gone to bed after my post. Yes, I had downloaded and filtered the relations file with msieve. I think we will need more than 10M additional Q.

With 850,375 pending rels remaining I am getting the following output in my log
Code:
Sat May 22 15:18:56 2021  keeping 44409030 ideals with weight <= 200, target excess is 207753
Sat May 22 15:18:59 2021  commencing in-memory singleton removal
Sat May 22 15:19:00 2021 begin with 40271688 relations and 44409030 unique ideals
Sat May 22 15:19:23 2021 reduce to 17871104 relations and 18866792 ideals in 23 passes
Sat May 22 15:19:23 2021 max relations containing the same ideal: 120
Sat May 22 15:19:24 2021 filtering wants 1000000 more relations
Is it worth bumping this number up or should I wait for all rels to be returned & try again?

What target_density did you specify when starting msieve? Or did you just go with the default value (TD=90)?

There appears to be plenty of relations for a job this size but who knows with the recent tsunami resulting from the pentathlon.
