You did say, all format.
So, I entered the date May 24, 1981 AD (Gregorian calendar) into a Julian Day calculator. Modified Julian Day 44,748 November 17. 1858 AD Julian Day 2,444,748.5 noon on January 1. 4713 BC I wasn't sure about the rounding, so... 44747*2^3 + 1 44747*2^131 + 1 44748*2^4 + 1 44748*2^8 + 1 44748*2^20 + 1 44748*2^24 + 1 44748*2^33 + 1 44748*2^48 + 1 44748*2^49 + 1 44748*2^60 + 1 44749*2^10 + 1 44749*2^46 + 1 44749*2^118 + 1 44749*2^186 + 1 2444747*2^7 + 1 2444747*2^75 + 1 2444747*2^119 + 1 2444747*2^127 + 1 2444748*2^1 + 1 2444748*2^4 + 1 2444748*2^40 + 1 2444748*2^52 + 1 2444748*2^100 + 1 2444748*2^124 + 1 2444748*2^154 + 1 2444748*2^192 + 1 2444749*2^2 + 1 2444749*2^194 + 1 |

GFN means most likely Generalized Fermat Numbers in this context.

One type of GFN is a^(2k) + 1, which none of the examples in this thread appear to be. Another type of GFN is a^(2k) + b^(2k). I didn't check whether any examples in this thread are of that type. All I checked was that the examples I posted had not tested composite with a BPSW test. |

None of your given small primes are a divisor of any Generalized Fermat number.

What date formats? I can think of these (and there are likely more):
yyyymmdd (my personal favorite as it cannot easily be read incorrectly) mmddyyyy (format popular in the US) ddmmyyyy (format popular outside of the US) yyyyjjj (jjj is the Julian day of the year) And for those who don't care about the century: yymmdd mmddyy ddmmyy yyjjj Last fiddled with by rogue on 2021-10-20 at 15:11 |
