I wasn't sure whether to make individual pages in the wiki for them or not. As you know, M40+ are simply huge text files.

Is the forum and wiki served on the same server? If not then maybe I will create individual pages and do internal instead of external links.

Does the server support on the fly gzip compression (mod-gzip)? If so, is gzip negotiation turned on? We could pre-gzip the text files so the server will push the pre-gzipped file first.

Actually it wouldn't hurt to even gzip -9 the ones in the archive link just for that reason.

They should be rarely accessed, so gzipping them isn't worth the trouble... It puts a big load on the server (cpu-wise) to do mod_gzip on them anyways...

The forum and wiki are on the same server... The forum pages are gzipped...

I notice that on the Wanted List we have Torture Test and Stress Test. Are these really two different things, or can we have one explanation and a re-direct?

They are basically two things: The prime client Torture Test and a general Stress Test.

So, what you mean is that Prime95 has a test titled "Torture Test", which is a specific example of a stress test (a general term for software that subjects particular parts of a computer system to operations that cause those parts to operate near or at their maximum capacities)?

Yes.

Note that the prime clients Torture test has a number of specific error messages that can mean something to anybody that overclocks their machine.

Also, the torture test does not stress test the graphics etc.
