I noticed within my ecm program that for each number being ecmed there's a number defined as "tot. work"
What is the equation that determines how much work a curve is? And also, What is the amount of total work desired for each number in the Most Wanted OPN search before it goes on to one of the other search methods? The only reason I'm asking these questions is (1) I have no social life, and (2) I'm moderately obsessive-compulsive. Last fiddled with by jasong on 2006-07-15 at 03:44 |

I apologize. "totwork" measures my personal contribution. The "work" number is what I'm interested in. How high should that get before the number being ECMed moves on to the next method, whatever that may be?
