Possibly....does it have the cool "Last Sites Visited" panel or list?
Yes -- "History", "Show All History" ("Today", "Yesterday", "Last 7 days", "March", "February"), "Recently Closed Tabs", ...

Lately most time when I open IE it is slow; windows open slow, refresh slow, etc.

When I check in Task Manager I see a process running called GoogleToolbarUser_32.exe*32 with a description of Google Toolbar Broker using 25% of the CPU.

If I simply terminate it IE is fast again.
It does not seem to want to end on its own.
It's been running 10 minutes now...SO I KILLED IT AGAIN!!!!

And insight into why it is there and how I "fix" it?
Thanks
Most of the time you installed these software tools with your favorite programs (like daemon tools) by not having checked 'advanced setup' or pressed 'next' too fast.

I'm really focusing my attention to NOT install such spyware but sometimes they still slip through ...

I use Chrome more than Firefox for the sole reason that its much more lightweight and faster to use to access the Internet.

Don't forget that Chrome runs each tab in a separate process! :) (Coming soon in Firefox 3.7)

Firefox simply is the best for web development as there are some killer add-ons, not to mention Ad Blocker Plus! Chrome is fastest, but occasionally has a compatibility issue.

also remember that Chrome has extensions now. And themes. If that matters to anyone.
