During database maintenance today (02/04/2006) some computers may have experienced an error 5 (access denied) response that causes Prime95 to auto-generate a new userid. Subsequent exponent updates are reported as error 17 (assigned to another account).
The resolution is to simply re-enter your original userid and password into the Test, User Information... fields in Prime95. I regret any inconvenience this might have caused. For comment or more information, please feel free to email me at primenet AT mersenne DOT org. Last fiddled with by garo on 2006-02-06 at 14:15 |
