It could be related to problems writing to the disk (I would look for bad blocks.)
However when I once had the prime95 files in a read only folder, the program gave an explicit error message. Is there anything in the prime.log file ?

I think it is related...same messages in prime.log

When I added back the missing entries in prime.txt it worked. Actaully it appears I lost it completely and a new default one was created.
I also changed debug=1 but becuase it all worked there is nothing odd in the extra detailed debug lines.

That debug info came from prime95 - I'm noit sure what version you have as that debug code is no longer in prime95.

The debug code was trying to track down a rare bug where prime95 was unreserving work when it shouldn't. That bug was never found. The bug is even rarer now due to prime95 delaying sending completion dates at start up.

Did this occur starting prime95 or had it been running a while? Can you email me the prime.log file and the worktodo.txt file? If you did not lose local.txt, can you send that too? Thanks.
