Default why are in the map LL tests over the limit?

Why do we have a LL test at

http://mersenne.org/primenet/

over
666000000 I thought it isn't possible with prime95? Is it a patched prime95 version?

I believe it was manually self-assigned, it must have been TF'ed and P-1'ed already

I tried it - you can't go over 560000000 by manual testing. I'm wondering how to got over that 'software limit'?

That means that the backbone software can manage such high numbers but just the GUI is blocking them?

Short answer: yes.

Prime95 has some limits on what it can handle that can't be changed without changing the code. PrimeNet has a system of multiple assignment criteria, which can be adjusted by system administrators anytime. PrimeNet makes certain ranges of exponents eligible for assignment, not necessarily all the way to Prime95's limits.
