Default Accidentally Quitting GIMPS - Question

I accidentally quit GIMPS completely on one of my computers. (Stupid!) I had backed up my prime.ini and worktodo.ini files, so I restored them. But because I am using Vista and I wasn't quite familiar with file permissions, it was about 10 minutes until I was able to restart prime95 with the exponent I was working on. My question is, is there a way to find out if the exponent I was working on has already been assigned to someone else while I was struggling to restart prime95?

It depends on whether you are using the V4 server or the V5 server. If you were on the V4 server, then you can look at you account status :
http://mersenne.org/cgi-bin/primenet...serPW=password
orif you do not remeber your userID and password on the Status page :
http://mersenne.org/primenet/status.txt (that page can take some time to load since it is 11MB in size.)

If you where on the V5 server you have to look at your account by logging in.
