I've already got one on order --- SWMBO's cow-orker has a female Maine Coon wo had a litter 6 weeks ago. The father is a Heinz cat which, presumably, makes the kittens Subsidiarye Coons.

We expect to take delivery in a few weeks when the kitten has been properly weaned and (at least partially) learned to use a litter tray. He's already been named Genghis and will join Brni, Katie and Freddie (short for Brinikat, Ekaterina and Friedrich respectively). Alfie, Cleo and Darius are no longer with us, sadly.

"Genghis Khat" - I like it, it's a "steppe up" from the usual cat names like Fluffy, Mittens, Fuzzbuckit, Mr. Stripeypants, etc. Now GK just needs to have offspring, eventually resulting in a grandson name Kubilai who will conquer China before settling down to lick himself.

Kublai probably won't join us for a few years. Before then (depending on their sex) we'll have Hatshepsut / Isabella / Juliana and Hammurabi / Ivan / Julius.

GK almost certainly won't have offspring. There are enough barely wanted kittens in the world, which is why we're taking him on.

We don't provide khat for our tribe as it doesn't grow well in our sub-arctic climate and imported supplies are hard to get hold of. We've a well-established catnip bush in the garden, the crown of which is protected by an upturned hanging basket to prevent over-grazing.

just to reinforce the message we need the cats gone, we can't take them to an apartment, or town as they might get ran over being outdoor cats.
