It's not a matter of trust, it's a matter of common courtesy. If you are going to post a blind link that you think others should follow and not just ignore, then you should give some context. We are in an information overload age, and it takes time and effort to follow links. If you don't think the link is important enough to write a sentence or two of context, then maybe it's not important enough to post in the first place.

James Lambert, 73 year old black male Philadelphian beaten to death by multiple youths with a traffic cone, while one apparently recorded the murder with a cell phone. Also recorded by at least one surveillance camera. Two of the 7 youths involved have surrendered to police.
