Personally I have always disliked giving as well as receiving condolences. I find the word (specially its Persian version) the most depressing of words. Whenever I hear it, it raises/reminds the most sad/depressing moments of my life and hits me like a train-wreck that I have just had the highest form of loss.

Instead as a believer in Baha'i faith, I will share a phrase that I have found somewhat comforting in cases of personal loss. The following is an attempt at a literal translation:

"The worlds of existence are infinite."

Naomi Judd

Grammy-award winning artist Naomi Judd of The Judds has died at 76.

Judd's daughters announced her death in a statement on Saturday.

"Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness," the statement said. "We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory."

A long-time sufferer of clinical depression, she died by suicide - the day before The Judds (Naomi and daughter Wynonna Judd) were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

On 30 April 2022, Ukraine's Air Force Command admitted the mythical status of the Ghost of Kyiv, writing that "The ghost of Kyiv is a superhero-legend, whose character was created by Ukrainians!"[2] and that "the #GhostOfKyiv is alive, it embodies the collective spirit of the highly qualified pilots".[26] It was acknowledged that he was just a piece of propaganda created to "raise morale at a time when people need simple stories", and warned people to not "neglect the basic rules of information hygiene" and to "check the sources of information, before spreading it".[2][5][6] The statement came after multiple media outlets published stories wrongly identifying Major Stepan Tarabalka as the man behind the moniker. Tarabalka was a real pilot who died on 13 March 2022 during air combat and was posthumously awarded the title Hero of Ukraine.[27]
