Your second query causes me to question whether you actually have any idea what "SNFS" is about. Have you read ANY of the references to information about it?

I know what SNFS is, and my second query was about a completely different program.

I had created a new thread already, and didn't feel the need to make another. I know they don't have anything in common, but put them one after another anyways.

Could you please answer?

What do you mean by "does"? Are you talking about factoring or primality-testing numbers of this form? Also, your query sounds more like one about the user interface, since arbitrary-precision calculator software to generate the decimal expansion of such expressions (which is typically needed by way of input to e.g. SNFS on the factoring side or ECPP on the primality-proving side) is widely available.

To ewmayer,

What I meant was that, just as programs have variables (multiple values), the signs can have multiple values, being +,-,*,/,^,!,#; as well as executing the form with different signs in the form, eg +-, *^, !#, etc

So I could do things like this:

n*^p+-k [n * or ^ p, + or - k]
k+-n#! [k + or - n that is # or !] etc

I unzipped the file from a downloading site, but the only .exe files it gave said stuff about not finding files.
