Can't Download Anything

I assume this would be the place for this; however, if I am wrong feel free to move my post.

I signed up and made a user ID and then I went to download the 32 bit windows version of p95 from "ftp://mersenne.org/gimps/p95v266.zip". When I click this link I am given the following in an alert window with only an OK option.

550 /gimps/p95v266.zip: The directory name is invalid.

If there is another way I could get the program I would appreciate it.

I am using Firefox on windows 7 ultimate.

and just like that a problem was solved. When I ran the program for the first time it churned out the following.

If I am reading this right it connected with the server got some tasks and then gave an estimated completion date. This would mean it is working correctly right?

It is working correctly. In the future, is is best not to post the assignment ID (that long string of digits.)

Note that the server assigned you trial factoring work, not actual primality testing work. (If it's a slower processor, this is to be expected.) It is possible to circumvent this and get assigned either first time primality testing (where you have a chance of finding a prime) or double check work, on smaller numbers that have been checked once already. (Because they're smaller though, each test will be shorter.)

I went poking about the forums shortly after having made my post and spotted somebody else that said that. I suppose I could edit it so that that number isn't shown but, according to Dubslow I am only doing trial work so these particular numbers don't matter as much right?

Yes, but it's just a good habit to get into (whenever you post here, of course).
