When using a rational date format (ISO), tomorrow will be a palindrome: 20211202 (2021-12-02 with hyphens)
Placing the day in the month between month and year is not logical and too easy... |

I think VMS's proper handling of date and time predated ISO8601 by years. DEC VMS had a well designed date/time handling facility decades ago, with real staying power. https://openvmsenthusiast.blogspot.c...-and-time.html I used the process-id & date-time-string combo to create highly-reliably-unique log & batch & temp file names for automatic submission as CAD specialist productivity aids. It's now 30 days to the end of HPE OpenVMS hobbyist license function. https://legacyos.org/hpe-sets-end-da...s-for-openvms/ The alternative is https://vmssoftware.com/about/news/2...unity-license/ Last fiddled with by kriesel on 2021-12-01 at 19:13 |

I don't have the time to find it, but there is a wonderful Bloom County cartoon where Oliver is complaining that nothing is original. And then Opus says "[someone] already said that. We work with what we are given. |

Hi all,
Start with today's date, which is 12 1 2021 then add the month and day which yields 12+1 2021 followed by adding the previous result to our year 13+2021 see this new 4 digit number 2034 then add the 2 digit numbers 20+34 54 *yeaaaaah* and 54 is just like a deck of cards with two jokers. Hope that was fun for you. Enjoy. Matt |

Today's date (in digital-readout mm.dd.yyyy format) is both a palindrome and an ambigram.
