hiho,

is there any interface to communicate with mprime to get information about the running time of a test and so on?
to work with "./mprime -d > log.txt" is not so fine

Well you could start a mprime -m over a running mprime -B (in the background) and use the menus to get some information (option 4 from status for example). As far as I know isn't there another way except redirecting the output and watch the log file as far as I know.

You can try ./mprime -s to get a quick status report for the exponents in your worktodo.ini
