Thumbs down SHA-1 Crypto Hash weakened

The 160 bit SHA-1 crypto hash has been further weakened.

There is a collision attack (not a full break) that allows 252 attempts, within the range of a distributed attack.

There is now an open competition for a new crypto hash able to withstand 2256 attempts.
