Anybody ever watch the Mystery Science Theater 3000 send-up of an inspiredly crappy South-African SciFi production, "Space Mutiny"? There's an evil guy in the movie called Kalgan, pronounced just like the above-mentioned dishwasher soap. At one point he blasts some poor stunt double with his ray gun, in response to which one of the MST3K robots (I think it was Tom Servo) cries, "Kalgan, blow me away!" I'm pretty sure I shot food out my nose after hearing that.

"So we're just supposed to stand here while we get BLOWN UP?!?!?!?"

It's not a secret - that data has been there for a year. Honestly, why the fascination with this number?
BTW, If someone had to waste time searching for the number, I prefer it be your time wasted.

There is no data reguarding your claims!
The fascinating thing about the number is that it was either,
A very rare occurence(otherwise your software stinks)
Or there is no M40 false positive.(There is no spoon)

I retract, it wasn't a waste of my time afterall.
Just how many more Mersenne primes do you know about?
Just waiting to release them at the appropriate time I bet...
I've found things too.

George,

I checked the lucas_v.txt file and did not find any exponents in the 18million range that matched your description. Here are all the exponents that were checked 3 or more times 18m to 19m inclusive. Is there something missing in the file or am I overlooking the obvious?

Thanks,

Fusion
