Default turnkey linux/mersenne

Is there any possibility of an official mersenne turnkey linux flavor being built? It'd probably be super easy for a linux guy...of which I am not. It'd probably increase interest in the project.

There could be licensing issues with distributing mprime like that, due to the stipulations about prize money and whatnot.

That maybe could be overcome by not having mprime in the distro. Rather have a small utility that fetches the latest version of mprime and does the install. The utility would have to be user launched to avoid being labeled as malware.

Smile No issue with prizes etc...

No issue with prizes etc, but there may be an issue with software licencing. Only open source software can be included OOTB.

Is mprime open source?

If it's FOSS then I can give someone guidance on how to make an appliance. Otherwise, I can give you a bit of guidance anyway and you can build your own ISOs and upload somewhere?
