Found this today on stumbleupon. I was wondering if anyone thinks it has any potential for our work here. Ive long dreamt of a "live cd" that was stripped out of everything but prime95 and configured to just start running unattended (and possibly report results back to a central server to pick back up in the case of a reboot or if the live cd was moved to another machine) This seems like it might be intresting but im not sure how hard it would be to port prime95 to assembly. Perhaps about as hard as simply helping Return Infinity to implement its plans to add "the ability to write data back to the disk, a C/C++ library for applications, and network support."

I'm sure it's possible to do it for mprime, though. |

i would think a usb drive would be better than a cd so you could save progress and assignments...
