Maybe. It seems to be more a hopper than a flyer. I would not want to get very high in such a thing.

Technically speaking, is it properly called a drone when it has a pilot onboard? The lift and propulsion devices are like those on many smaller remotely controlled devices, but I don't think it shares their droniness.

Adding 6 to 10 square meters of wings to it, properly distributed, one sqm of tail about 3 to 5 meters behind, and 2-3 microcontrollers to distribute the thrust (i.e. when "go fwd", the propellers in the back should spin a bit faster, to incline the thing toward front, so it can go forward, and the same for left-right) and the device would be perfectly flyable. As it is, I don't want to think about maneuvrability of it when a breeze of wind will turn it sideways, or an electric wire - the main one to the batteries under the chair - breaks... Also, landing on the battery pack from 3-4 meters will not be nice, too...
