I wouldn't expect 44.5M matrix to take less than half the time of 52.8M!
But, I notice the smaller matrix is smaller than 32GB, while the larger one isn't. I wonder if there is some sort of memoryaddressing change (hardware, or in msieve) that makes matrices bigger than 32GB notably slower. 10 days for a C201 matrix is pretty cool, all the same without MPI! Last fiddled with by VBCurtis on 20200413 at 16:34 Reason: 9 days > 10, noticed 9.7% progress already
