Hmm. Who should I talk to? I don't think that Citrix is still around.

Default PRPNet 5.0.6 Released

I fixed the issue reported here that 5.0 clients could not talk to 4.0.x servers.

I've notified ltd (PSP admin) about this thread. :)

PS: The PSP forum is here: http://mersenneforum.org/forumdisplay.php?f=48

Sorry for any inconvenience. Apparently the zip file was uploaded with 0 bytes. It is now fixed.

I made two changes:

1) Since primality tests take a long time for primorials/factorials, and as the pfgw doesn't checkpoint primality tests, the client will no longer do them for numbers of those forms.
2) If the ini file was modified to remove all servers and the client has completed all tests and returned them, then shut down.

You can d/l 5.0.7 from here.

Default PRPNet 5.0.8

I've posted PRPNet 5.0.8. It has the following changes:

prpserver: Added support for wwwwcl helper program (an OpenCL implementation of the wwww program).
prpserver: Use coalesce() for PostgreSQL support and ifnull() for MySQL support.
prpclient: Added support for wwwwcl helper program (an OpenCL implementation of the wwww program).

You can d/l 5.0.8 from here.

PRPNet is not a GPU application, but it can run geneferCUDA and wwwwcl, which are GPU applications. PrimeGrid has PRPNet servers that accept clients that can run these programs.
