Default GpuOwl Nvidia Hardware Accelerated Scheduling Test (Windows)

With the newest Nvidia driver release on Windows along with the newest Windows update, there's apparently a new feature that is called hardware accelerated scheduling under the settings->display->graphics options menu, so I decided to run a quick and dirty test on it.

Without it enabled: one core of the CPU is constantly maxed out (overall usage about 5% on the 3900x)

Code:
2020-06-28 21:13:19 TITAN V-0 OpenCL compilation in 0.49 s
2020-06-28 21:13:19 TITAN V-0 101931917 OK 82024800 loaded: blockSize 400, 53b14f4d4e7e70c0
2020-06-28 21:13:20 TITAN V-0 101931917 OK 82025600 80.47%; 622 us/it; ETA 0d 03:26; b3955fad9f870c1b (check 0.31s)
2020-06-28 21:15:08 TITAN V-0 101931917 OK 82200000 80.64%; 620 us/it; ETA 0d 03:24; 0b406048d8a615d8 (check 0.31s)

2020-06-28 21:19:35 TITAN V-0 Stopping, please wait..
2020-06-28 21:19:36 TITAN V-0 101931917 OK 82629200 81.06%; 621 us/it; ETA 0d 03:20; 45e3a1516cff4f23 (check 0.30s)
2020-06-28 21:19:36 TITAN V-0 Exiting because "stop requested"
2020-06-28 21:19:36 TITAN V-0 Bye
With it enabled: CPU usage is way down to around 40-50% on a single core (or around 2% overall utilization on 3900x)
Code:
2020-06-28 21:02:52 TITAN V-0 OpenCL compilation in 0.37 s
2020-06-28 21:02:53 TITAN V-0 101931917 OK 81236000 loaded: blockSize 400, ccbe7aed4fe9219f

2020-06-28 21:04:34 TITAN V-0 101931917 OK 81400000 79.86%; 614 us/it; ETA 0d 03:30; 30cdfb7688e13be4 (check 0.30s)

2020-06-28 21:08:41 TITAN V-0 101931917 OK 81800000 80.25%; 615 us/it; ETA 0d 03:27; 788af66282a22007 (check 0.30s)

2020-06-28 21:10:59 TITAN V-0 Stopping, please wait..
2020-06-28 21:11:00 TITAN V-0 101931917 OK 82024800 80.47%; 616 us/it; ETA 0d 03:24; 53b14f4d4e7e70c0 (check 0.30s)

The speed up is seemingly negligible but the CPU utilization is way down, which could make the -yield option unnecessary.

Interesting. What are the version numbers for those? I've noticed that -yield was not as effective on Windows 10 as on Windows 7.

Tested mfaktc, 0 difference between enabled and disabled and CPU usage is equally low at near 0%.

As mfaktc already supports sieving on GPUs, this should make very little difference unless you're sieving on the CPU.
