Types of work to request from server?

I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for anywhere, what type of work should I choose? Request 10,000,000 digit numbers to test or primality tests? I'm not sure the difference aside one takes longer, Thanks!

At this point, it will almost never matter, because the leading edge is well past the 10M digit point.

"10,000,000 digit numbers to test" means that the user requests _only_ assignments in which the Mersenne number has more than 10,000,000 digits when expressed decimally (the power-of-2 exponent is greater than 33219280 (= 10,000,000 / base-10 logarithm of 2)).

whereas

"primality tests" means that an L-L test for any exponent, either above or below 33219280 is acceptable to the requester.

As Mini-Geek pointed out, there are, nowadays, only a few assignments of L-L tests for under-33219280 exponents. All of them are reassignments of exponents for which the original L-L test results were unsatisfactory for some reason (sometimes because the original assignee has not reported progress recently).
