What is the plan for getting PSP-LLR started at prime grid?
(Btw I added the BOINC stuff to the sieve instructions) |

Is the awarding of points per factor found the same formula for prime-grid as the manual system? ie is there any correlation between the two projects/efforts? Does 100,000 points on the manual mean the same thing as a PrimeGrid participant getting 100,000 points on the PrimeGrid project stats? Or is the primegrid stats method based on the boinc stuff?

On the PSP stats Primegrid gets points by the same formula as the manual sieving. There is no correlation between the PSP points and the local primegrid stats as these are calculated by the boinc formulas.

Well it looks like in 3 to 5 days I'll get steamrolled by primegrid! And then not too much longer the same for Sheep. Actually I'm glad to see it because it means that primegrid is really getting some momentum behind it which is really good for the project So it looks like this year is going to close with some very definite forward strides for all the people that have put so much work into this effort to get things to the point they are now. Now if only a prime or two would just happe to roll along before the end of the year.......

Is primegrid LLR active now? I see some tests on the website and that primegrid has reserved some numbers on the files left page?
