This drive is low priority and will be run with manually reserved files only. At first, we would request that the reservations only be done by people with less resources (< ~15 cores). It will give people a good chance to find some top-5000 primes without feeling like they have to be in a hurry to complete them.

Ah kay. At first, 10 files looked very much.

There are still files to be posted yet up to 500K so plenty to go around.

Max,

You do know that each file takes about 8-10 CPU days to process, right? Your reservation will keep all of your cores busy for up to 3 weeks if running 24x7. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

Regardless, it's good to get a few processed here. Maybe we can make a move at RPS again. As of this posting, we were 20 behind, I just submitted one for Lauren, and Ian has one yet to submit.

Yes, I'm aware of how long they take. I figured I'd be sticking with the mini-drive for at least that long anyway so I may as well load up.

The double-check of n=432K-433K is complete. Max, I have Emailed you the results for comparison of the residues with the PRPnet results residues.

3087*2^436797-1 is prime!

Note: This prime's n-level is *not* indicative of my current progress through this range. I actually found this prime 5 days ago but forgot to check my personal LLRnet server for primes until today.

Dang, you're on a roll. Congrats Max.
Took a lot less time compared to me to find the same amount of primes.

Excellent. The project has been hurting on primes lately. It's good to see this effort pick up a couple of them.
