The ranges worked on by LMH are generally well beyond the 10M digit starting range, and are outside the ones assigned by the server. This one is no different in that respect... Don´t know if I got your point right, though.

 2003-07-13, 23:09 #4 outlnder     Aug 2002 4768 Posts 33 million digit exponents are the start of the 10 million digit prime numbers. I can't remeber where, but George stated that anything over 77M exponents are in the 11 million digit range, thus not elligible for the prize money.
 2003-07-13, 23:52 #5 NickGlover     Aug 2002 Richland, WA 8416 Posts 77M exponents yield numbers around 23M digits. Any prime number found over 10M digits is eligible for prize money. Anything above 10M digits and below 100M digits will win the 10M digit prize. Anything above 100M digits and below 1000M digits will win the 100M digit prize prize instead and still leave the 10M digit prize for any new discovery over 10M digits (including another 100M digit discovery). Altough the EFF prize places no limitation on the size of numbers that can win a prize, Prime95 is currently limited to exponents below 79.3M (around 24M digits).
