Default Interesting Encryption problem

I've always taken a large interest in the MAME project. One of the challenges has always been to figure out the decryption on the CPS2 games. Recently some of the guys have made big strides towards it using a Feistel network approach. The work done so far is here I'm wondering if some of the guys here could perhaps shed any light on the approach they are making ?? regards FDC
