Unhappy Msieve on a Mac (Help)

First, and most importantly, I'm clueless when it comes to compiling/running C code. I have the latest iMac; I have Xcode; and I've used the Terminal to compile/run a java app (Alpern's ECM factorization). But that's it. I can follow instructions but only if they are explicit enough and don't assume programming familiarity.

I would like to run Msieve for those integers that ECM just isn't getting. I've looked at the Msieve folder, tried to gcc demo.c in Terminal but just got a whole bunch of error messages. Is there any hope?

Go to the folder where the "Makefile" is and run 'make all'. In order to compile Msieve though you'll also need to have GMP either imstalled or compiled.
