Default Prime 95 Noob Question

First time user for using this software for stress test on an Overclocking of an i7 965ee core.

In the past I have used OCCT and trying this one out on Win7 64bit RC7100.

My question is what settings do i apply in P95 v25.9 for this application. And how do I set the time for the lenght of run.

Sorry for this noob question, but looking around in the software is kinda confussing.

Im sure this question has been asked many times, so if a link is available, please provide it for me... and thanks in advance for support.

in the menu under 'options' try 'torture test'
Run length is manual. Give it at least 1-2 hours. Some recommend a full 24.

You don't set the time for the run, it just runs until it encounters a problem or you stop it.
I'm not too experienced with what options to run, but I'm pretty sure it depends on what you want to stress the most. The options each have some text explaining what they stress next to 'em. You can try each of the options for some time. (just to make sure you know, it's in Options > Torture Test...)
Big problems are usually found in a rather short time (under an hour), but running it for 24-48 hours would make it more certain that the system is completely stable.

That controls how many logical cores will be tortured. Yes, I think leaving it at 8 would be best, to ensure maximum load.
