Default No progress in Assignment page

Hello,

I have a Manual Assigment for DC.

Funny thing the exponent appears in my Assignment list but the Status and Last Update date gets no update. It states 0% but on my PC im at around 30 %.

So i took some time and looked into my worktodo.txt looks like this

Code:
Worker #1
DoubleCheck=N/A, exponent, 72,1
Also
Prime95 is set to automatic communication
FixedHardwareUID=1

Can this problem have something to do that i run it from USB on different machines? (Sometimes even different OS (Mac/Win7))

Did you configure Prime95/Mprime to use PrimeNet?

You can look into the prime.log to check the last time Prime95 connected to PrimeNet.

Yes it is setup and it can communicate.
In PrimeNet i see my CPU listed with all the details, an also the exponent is listed as assigment but the progress is not visible.

In you worktodo, you have "N/A" where you should have an assignment ID. This happens when prime95/mprime communicates with primenet and comes to the conclusion that the assignment does not belong to you (or this computer?). In that case it replaces the assignment ID with "N/A". If that is the case, you should have a line like

PrimeNet error 43: Invalid assignment key

in your prime.log file.

Correct i have this line!

This can be because the assignment has the wrong Cat for my machine, or? I Think it is cat 1 or cat 0

But th last tim ei checked nobody was doing work on this exponent, so im not stealing...

You can see the category of your assignment on https://www.mersenne.org/workload/ in the "Current Cat" column.

I don't know if that could be the reason for your problem, I got this message because I really did have an incorrect assignment ID. Does the log file provide any more detail?

So it seems i have a problem because i switched machines and the assignment is in the wrong category...

If you stop Prime95/mprime, you can replace the line in worktodo.txt with the line for the exponent at the bottom of https://www.mersenne.org/workload/ . When Prime95/mprime communicates again, it should start sending the progress for the assignment.
