Hi, first of all: I'm not a programmer, not a mathematician and my English is not the best, but I want to help finding new mersenne primes. :) I saw[1] that there programs for various kinds of operating systems, but not Net- and DragonFly BSD. I saw the link to the source code for UNIX systems, but if I'm correct that's not the code for the executables above. Is the source code for them available? I think at least the FreeBSD version could compile on other BSDs and maybe also other Unices.
[1] here: http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm Thanks, reezer |
