It would be better to create AS SOON AS POSSIBLE the entry in the Chris Caldwell database. SO PLEASE SEND ME INFORMATION (SKLIGMUND AND GRIBOZAVR).

I would be very ANGRY if somebody STOLE our record !

I will add it later today, with names if available. I can wait if you want to prepare something official first.

Yes please wait so we can tell you the people who grant credits.
I emailed Chris Caldwell and other people who have site listing prime numbers, I'd like that nobody can steal our discovery.

As soon as I saw the post I'll send a mail to Chris Caldwell, I hope that nobody (.. a "thief" ) did it before me.

Nobody is going to "steal" these twins. AFAIK nobody has "stolen" a prime!

We also must prepare an official communicate and, possibly, a small paper (in pdf )

Please stop worrying about thieves!!! What a sour thought. Isn't it enough that a record twin was found! It's time to celebrate.

For those who haven't been paying attention, here's what MooooMoo posted for possible credits:

Quote:
The credit (proof-code) will be:

1.) Twin prime finder (first time discovery only, double checks don't count)
2.) TPS
3.) PrimeGrid
4.) Top producer in terms of M
5.) Top producer in terms of primes found
6.) Top siever

#4 and #5 can (and will likely be) the same person. In that case, there'll only be 5 names attached to the proof-code, not 6.

I'm also considering merging #2 and #3 (The PrimeGrid Twin Prime Search, maybe?)

Rytis, Pacionet, me, NewPGen, and LLR will all be in the project's descriptive data.
In that case it will possibly be:

1.) eric_v, Twin Prime finder
2.) TPS
3.) PrimeGrid
4.) Skligmund, Top producer in terms of M & primes found
6.) gribozavr, Top siever

I think you should wait for an official notice. At the very least, we should wait for MooooMoo and let him submit the information!!! Afterall, he started this project on April 13, 2006!

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations!!!!

What did with the ranges which are still in progress?

Did we stop the work and waiting for 333333 ranges or send the current results of these k=195000 ranges?

The idea was to stop the current LLR test and send the results; then we wait for the first ranges of n=333,333 (they should release them soon, I hope)

Just a little correction, TPS should be changed in TIPS (Twin Internet Prime Search)

Huge congrats! This is a major record that may stay unsurpassed for several years!

I did one more check using old but reliable Proth.exe:
Code:
2003663613*2^195000 - 1 may be prime. (a = 5)
2003663613*2^195000 - 1 is prime! (P = 1, Q = -1) [58711 digits]
2003663613*2^195000 + 1 is prime! (a = 11) [58711 digits]
2003663613*2^195000 + 1 is prime! (verification : a = 29) [58711 digits]
 - Twin -
