I don't think so. It is just a typo on the status page. If you look at the bottom of http://www.mersenne.org/status.htm, you will see a downloadable GIMPS database. There are files for exponents that have been double checked and exponents not yet verified (one LL test). M100,000,007 is on the one LL list and not the double checked list.

P.S. There is also factors data that says it requires a special program to decompress. When I download the program from the link provided, I cannot get it to work. I cannot figure out how to follow the steps in the readme document (I attached it to this post). If someone could help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

The directions seem pretty straightforward. You need to have three files in one directory, then you obtain a DOS prompt, go to that directory, and run decomp.

Did you remember to unzip the files?

Edit: What, exactly, are you trying to obtain? I'm assuming that you know that decomp generates a worktodo file.

I have unzipped the files. I now have two files called "FACTORS.CMP" and "NOFACTOR.CMP". How do you obtain a DOS prompt? When I click on the DECOMP application, a black box (shown below) pops up for about 0.05 seconds then disappears. I am trying to obtain a list of the factors data similar to the other databases on the status page.

To open DOS on Windows XP, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, then Command Prompt. As you may know DOS is a very old type of user interface; even during my early childhood, it was considered ancient.

1. Just place all three files in one directory
2. Start -> Run -> Cmd (a DOS window starts)
3. Change directory to one where files are (CD command)
4. Type:
decomp.exe -f 1 100000010
decomp.exe -n 1 100000010

This must help you

The command prompt remains a good tool for a lot of tasks, notably for debugging network problems. It is still considered actual enough to be included in Vista.

The real DOS (as an independant OS) is still used a lot for flashing firmware on peripherals whithout the interference a more recent OS would give...

I'm quite sure I never typed anything about M100,000,037 into worktodo. And what's with M101?
