Default Does this look right to you?

I am having problems loading this thread: http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=6260

It chokes at this post:
http://www.mersenneforum.org/showpos...0&postcount=77

Both in Opera and IE, but only if I am logged in. However, I can load the post by itself.

Using IE 6.0, I've had no "trouble" loading/viewing that thread or post #77 in particular.

Now, it is true that the formatting commands in that post are a bit screwed up. Abstracting only the square brackets plus apparently associated formatting commands from post #77, and inserting spaces so that those commands are not interpreted here, one finds:

[ quote=mfgoode;86750 ]
[ quote=Uncwilly;86713 ]
QUOTE= ]
[
[
]/QUOTE
[ /quote ]

Aside from seeing some of those displayed in the plain view instead of being hidden as they would be if they were all correct, I've experienced no "choking" of any sort.

I am using IE 6.0, and Opera 9.0. When I hit 'reply' it comes up no problem. I normally see "vbmenu_register("postmenu_86750", true);" under Mally's nym, in regualr view. I shall have to see if it has to do with my connection.

BTW, when I am not logged in, quote appears in the thread, but not multiquote.

This thread http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=6326 also is now giving me problems at post 72.

It does not have a problem on my work machine. Only on my home. It does not a amke a difference at home, wireless from a neighbor or dial-up.

I can assure you Unc I have nothing to do with it. My p.c. is straightforward as ever and an open book to anyone. I keep all my secrets in my head and in my notenooks.

Cutting down the number of posts per page seems to have fixed this problem.
