If a PRP is reportet by the client the system sets the k automatically into a status where no more new tests will be handed out.
To be visual in the stats there is manual work needed as they should only show up when the result is validated. As i am not at home i have not enough access to the server to make the modifications. The prime will show up on the weekend. Lars |

Is there a mechanism in LLRNet that reuses pairs that are not returned in a timely fashion, let's say within a month or so?

There is an expiry limit set at 14 days. After that, the server will reissue the k/n pair.

My logfile contains "272464*5^101667-1 is a probable prime".

How large should 'n' be for our numbers to be top-5000 primes?

http://primes.utm.edu/top20/sizes.php for size of the smallest prime to be in the first 5k. It changes each day as new primes are "discovered". Also, this project does have quite a few of them in the top 5000 as people have tested for specific k for large values of n. jaat |
