There are several factoring project forums, and a general Factoring forum.
There are several prime search project forums, but no forum for general discussions. Is it a good idea to have a "Prime Search" forum for discussions about prp testing, sieving, etc. that don't relate to one of the existing projects? This could also be a place for prime search projects too small to have their own forum. (I'm not volunteering to be a moderator, sorry). |

Most general-prime-search threads should go into either the Math or Software forum, depending on their bent.

I think a general prime search forum is a good idea. I prefer to keep the math section for things that are not factoring or prime finding related.
