v23.5 benchmarks needed

Before I release 23.5 I need some benchmarks to make sure I haven't made matters worse for anyone. Athlon, Duron, Pentium 3, Celeron 2 users - this version is for you! For once, you don't have to jealously hear about the latest round of improvements for P4 owners only. This time the P4 owners get nothing!

My Athlon system gets a 3 to 8% improvement for the most common FFT sizes. But is slower for exponents above 40,000,000.

You can get a test version of Windows prime95 version 23.5 at ftp://mersenne.org/gimps/p95v235.zip

I need before and after benchmarks from a Duron, Athlon, Pentium 3, and non-SSE2 Celerons. I need the results for all cache sizes (128K, 256K and 512K). When we see that I haven't slowed anyone down then I can officially release the 23.5 beta.

Ok I just rebenched marked, now the results are constant :D ...

I have noticed that v23.5 speed steps my Compaq 1700t(1711t) from 996mhz to 731mhz :?

. Version 23.5 doesnt catch this speed step, but CPUZ and MBM5 does

. I have posted the 1st benchmark(the one that didn't speed step :D ).
The Athlon does ok, there are no new heat problems :) .

Ran benchmarks on a P4 to confirm no performance impact. Looks slightly worse at the lowest and highest FFTs, slightly better in the middle. Overall, looks pretty neutral...

Tbred core, 2000 MHz, dual channel enabled, no tweaks applied - stone stock box. It appears that this rig benefits, especially in the higher FFT's.

Is this client safe? I want to use it right away, for my 33M test which got a nice gain.
