running two instances of llrnet

Hi,
Will you please help me configuring llrnet in a computer with double core chip. I want to run two instances of llrnet. As far as I remember from rieselsieve project, port numbers should be different in config files but I couldn't remember exactly...

I haven't done this myself. But running 2 instances in different folders on the same port should be ok. Also set the client work cache to around 2, so they do not too frequently contact the server. I think this should work.

You might also want to use a different username for the 2 clients.

Let me know if any problems arise

There is at least no need for a different username.
If you want to watch the progress with only one GUI the GUIport must be set to different values.

Once you got it configured, you might check whether or not you get any speeed adventage. With a HT P4, I didn't get any.

That's not only a HT P4, but also double cored. Running two instances has more than %95 speed advantage.

Intel dual core shows up as 2 processors
Intel Extream Edition dual cores are hyperthreaded. They show up as 4
