Hey all,
It has been a year since the start of the project. In the last one year we have accomplished alot. We eliminated 11 k's by finding 11 huge primes and also sieved upto almost 40 trillion. This is a huge accomplishment for a group of our size. Special thanks to all the people who participated and to all who supported the project.People who deserve special mention are ltd (Lars) and Footmaster. ltd has worked very hard over the last year and continues to do so, maintaining the database and providing the project users with regular and improved stats and with regualar updates for the files. Footmaster is hosting the network server for the project, which allows users to automatically reserve work and submit it. For the year to come the goal of the project will be to reach atleast n=2.5 M for PRP and find serveral new primes and sieve to an appropriate depth (100 T). One other goal we should make is to attract new users. If anyone has any suggestions, on how to do this please let us know. Happy Birthday PSP! Hope alot of primes come in the next year Hope the Prime Sierpinski problem will be solved. November 8,2004 Thanks alot for your participation in the project, Citrix

Here are some more stats to show the progress we made. In total we have sieved out 754593 numbers and there have been 97692 PRP tests been returned. Lars |

Congratulations!! May more primes be found!
After a period of absence in the PSP, I decided to go back and use my spare cycles on this project. |

PSP is two years old now. With 2 new primes this year, it makes a total of 13 primes under PSP's belt. I hope we continue to find primes in the coming years.
Thank you to all those who have helped out with PSP. Happy Birthday PSP! Citrix Nov 8,2005. Last fiddled with by Citrix on 2005-11-09 at 04:19 |
