Andrew-
Do you do any work for these projects yourself, or do you restrict yourself to just judging the work of others? |

I'll solely do exponents at 6.1M where takahashi's B2 is arguably too low. I check if any assignmentID is present, and if not I get myself assigned.

Ah.. It's kind of annoying to me, I was planning to switch to 6.1M range as long as I have finished either 0.04M or 0.05M, which is pretty close to finished right now (2 or 3 days to go).. Could you do me a favor to switch to other ranges? I've finished all stage 1 there.

Alrighty, good luck finishing the range :)
As mentioned n PM, but this should in my opinion be a rule: assign your work. It's entirely possible with p95, by making sure others see what is worked on. First I didn't know about this topic and was using mersenne.ca to find exponents with poor P-1. What if someone else comes along using that method, not knowing this specific topic? |

That is correct. P-1 assignments on factored exponents are not recognised at all. Even on unfactored exponents in this range, they can only be gotten through PrimeNet and not the manual assignment page. (Neither is true for ECM, even though P-1 is usually the more efficient method).

For my own study issues, I will pause my P-1 in 8.9M until May 20th, and will return to 8.9M after that.

In the 100K-150K range, I am pausing right now. If anyone is inclined to takes this up right now, stage 1 is fully done and can be made available. If not, I will likely resume in a few weeks.
