Prime pages is under the first large scale brute-force attack since Prof.Caldwell.

It is easy to defend the database from trivial attacks.
For large (cunning or dumb) attacks - one needs the expertise. (There is no easy replacement for it. One just ought to be Caldwell.)
Some new rules can be built to make up for it.

Update: Now, seems to have been ad hoc managed after reports.
