It would be nice to be able to directly stop and continue the current test from the tray icon's right-click menu. Just like you can currently do in the Test menu of the main window.

That is a good idea. My understanding is that it would be only a few minute modification :D
Speaking of the tray icon: Why is it red, associated with a stop light, when crunching and green, associated with go, when stopped? It seams backwards. |

Red might mean "hot" like how things get hot when they run.
I think that it is a good idea also. I also suggest maybe the things in undoc.txt can be put under the Advanced menu. |

I would like to see the Undoc.txt stay as it is, because many of the features there can cause BAD things to happen. Yeah, some of them should be easier to use(the startup delay being one), but overall, if you have the time to read the undoc, chances are you will have the restraint not to use some of the'this feature will be deleted...' stuff.

Why not go through the undoc.txt and make a list of features that we suggest that George move into the GUI?

TimingOutput=n
TimeStamp=0 BootDelay=n Would be the only ones that I could see as being moved out of the undoc.txt. Most of the other stuff is definately well advanced or for debugging only. |

I've left it implemented - showing as either Stop or Continue, but never grayed. When should it be grayed? Well when you select Stop sometimes there is a lag before the Stop completes - it should be grayed during that time. Also, Contiinue should be grayed when not using primenet and the worktodo file is empty. |

Code snippet of modifying system tray icon menus
This is MASM code (windows assembly) using Win32 API calls If an item in the menu was setup this way invoke AppendMenu,hPopupMenu,MF_STRING,IDM_STOP,addr StopString then the following code would GRAY and DISABLE it. invoke ModifyMenu,hPopupMenu,IDM_STOP, MF_STRING+MF_GRAYED+MF_DISABLED,IDM_STOP, addr StopString and invoke ModifyMenu,hPopupMenu,IDM_STOP, MF_STRING+MF_ENABLED, IDM_STOP,addr StopString would enable it once more. |
