For me, running Windows 10 with Firefox, the newline problem with new and edited posts has now been fixed. It no longer inserts an extra blank line each time I hit enter. This problem started likely as long as a year ago and it had been quite irritating.

Thank you, Mike, or whomever took care of it! It was such a pain to preview my new posts to remove the extra lines before posting them.

Also seems to have been fixed on my end! Thank you to whomever improved this.

The "enhanced" editor has been disabled, so now the forum is using the "standard" editor.

We don't know why the "enhanced" editor is broken but the "standard" editor seems to work well enough so that seemed like a simple fix.
