Current bill. The second tier begins at 1,000 kWh which I didn't reach this month. We got advanced metering infrastructure a year ago and I like the ability to view usage on an hourly basis. The next tier cost is about an additional 2 cents per kWh. This is a co-op so capital credits are periodically refunded.

Speaking of voltage sag, I have the opposite problem: I get approximately 125 volts on each split phase, which likes to trip UPSes. I haven't seen any voltage drop when loads switch on.

WRT power stability, we think our purchase of an "online" UPS to be one of the smartest things we have done recently. The initial cost was hard to accept but we think in the long term it might save us money.
We've had several (cheap) "offline" UPS boxes fail due to some sort of mechanical relay switch getting stuck. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=apc+ups+f06+error

If we consider the electricity only, disregarding the hardware deprecation and our time involvement, it still costs us cheaper to run locally. We would spend 15 baht on Colab Pro Plus to do the same amount of work (mainly getting P100) that would cost us 11 baht at home (mainly 2080Ti's and Rvii's), this is pure electricity plus VAT (i.e. as we pay on the bill).

When we got our electric bill yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised that we are now at a 0,3 €/kWh day rate and a 0,2 €/kWh night rate (approximately). But we were billed 20,000 kWh... Edit: That's an "eco" contract, we are promised that our juice contains renewable energies only.

Unfortunately, no. We have an average power draw of around 2.3 kW because we use electric heating and electric water heating.

Off-topic: I started this thread back in 2017 and what do I find? The title has been changed. Very funny!
